Greetings

Welcome to Lug Who. To date, there have been two officially licensed Doctor Who RPGs. The best of the two has always (in my mind) been the game published by FASA, based on their Star Trek RPG. So, when Last Unicorn Games published a new Star Trek RPG, I felt its system (with its highly detailed character stats) was ideally suited to a Doctor Who RPG. Alas, this never came to pass. So, after thinking about it all these years, I've decided to create this site. Here I will post original species templates, advantages, disadvantages, skills, equipment, ships, etc. I will be accepting submissions from anyone who might be interested in roleplaying with the Icon system.

To submit content send an email to: lugwho@gmail.com

P.S. Feel free to submit alternate ideas for things already posted.

Terileptil Species Template

Terileptils are a reptilian humanoid species. They cannot survive long without breathing Soliton gas. They perfected atmospheric processors which can synthesize and release needed amounts of the gas into the immediate area, allowing them to function in alien atmospheres lacking this vital component. However, Soliton gas is highly combustible when combined with oxygen. As an advanced society, they enjoy a heightened appreciation of both aesthetics and warfare. Even the Terileptilan language reflects the artistic and scientific sophistication of this species; to the untrained eye Terileptilan script looks very much like mathematical formulae. As a part of this highly refined culture the Terileptils esteem certain vocations, such as that of mime and circus clown, very highly. Terileptils are especially noted for their use of androids, as guards, soldiers, and servitors. Like their weapons and indeed all their technology, these androids are impressive in their aesthetically pleasing design. By the 34th century ( the early years of the Galactic Federation), their home world, Terileptus, has become a member of the Galactic Federation, and a noted builder of starships. Sadly, shortly thereafter the Terileptil home world was destroyed by a renegade Time Lord by the name Koschei (later know as the Master). Aside from individual Terileptils who may have been elsewhere in the galaxy when this occurred, this act marked the end of an interplanetary civilization which was over two thousand years old, and was also one of the final steps in the Master's descent into darkness.
